David V. Johnson
David V. Johnson, Chairman of Victor International Corporation, is committed to creating unique living and working environments that exist in ecological harmony with the land. He is internationally recognized as a successful entrepreneur and luxury community developer. Under his guidance, Victor International has grown to include world-class resort communities and properties. His work has been recognized by local and international organizations including, the prestigious Urban Land Institute, the CNBC International Property awards and many more. His passions for thoughtful development, respect for the land and integration of leading edge infrastructure technologies are evident in all of the residential and commercial projects he has helmed.
Johnson has significant involvement with the Urban Land Institute, as a member of the Recreational Development Council and as a former trustee. He also sits on the Board of Governors for the ULI Foundation and is a member of the ULI Detroit Steering Committee. Johnson's memberships include the World Presidents' Organization (WPO), Chief Executive Officers (CEO), the Detroit Presidents' Organization (DPO) and the National Association of Realtors. His former affiliations include serving the Michigan Department of Natural Resources as a State Waterways Commissioner. Johnson is also a former member of The Young Presidents' Organization (YPO).
In 2009, David V. Johnson was given the GEM Visionary Award by Global Electric Motors. In 2003, Johnson and Bay Harbor were awarded the prestigious Award of Excellence by the Urban Land Institute for excellence in design, planning and development. Johnson has also been hailed as Environmentalist of the Year by Michigan Chamber of Commerce and as the 2006 Developer of the Year by the Building Industry Association.
In addition to his degree from Michigan State University, Johnson is also an annual participant, group leader and graduate of the Presidents' Program at Harvard Business School.
With a long history of giving back to the local community, philanthropy is a core principle of Johnson's business philosophy. His commitment to the communities where he works including co-founding the Bay Harbor Foundation in Northern Michigan, The Victor Foundation (Michigan), and the North Sound Foundation (BVI). The Bay Harbor Foundation contributes to the advancement of educational, cultural, social and other charitable community endeavors of importance. In 1988, Johnson established The Victor Foundation, providing charitable contributions to foster programs for children, the physically challenged and young adults. Each of these organizations helps to support a youth, resident and non-profit organization within their local community footprints.
Johnson has supported a host of local and national organizations including: The American Heart Association, the Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute, Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, Child Help USA, North Oakland Headwaters Land Conservancy, The University of Michigan Cancer Foundation and Therapeutic Riding, Inc. The latter agency is particularly meaningful to Johnson, who overcame a broken neck suffered in a 1978 swimming pool accident.
Johnson, his wife Pamela and their children are boating enthusiasts. As a family, they enjoy working to assist and support their chosen charities. Johnson and his wife Pamela are active enthusiasts of Tennessee Walking Horses, which they ride for pleasure.

Jennifer Merriman is responsible for all legal issues, including community documents, real estate closing, contractual agreements and other company legal affairs
Prior to joining the company, Merriman was an attorney with Dees Law Office in Central Illinois, focusing on contracts, litigation, financial matters, as well as family law. She earned her Juris Doctor from Michigan State University College of Law and her Bachelor of Arts from Western Michigan University. During college, Merriman served as an intern for Bay Harbor Properties and Victor International Corporation. She is admitted to practice law in Michigan, Illinois, and the US District Court for the Central District of Illinois.
Merriman is a member of the American, Illinois State and Oakland County Bar Associates and the State Bar of Michigan.
