Rick Wells

Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Rick Wells is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Victor International Corporation. In this role, he works directly with the Chairman to develop and implement the corporate and financing strategies of the organization and its various subsidiaries.

All told, Rick has a twenty-year proven track record of success in the management and growth of companies in the real estate and manufacturing sectors. Prior to joining Victor International, Rick was Chief Operating Officer of Dumas Central Industries, a supplier of conveyor and material handling systems to the automotive industry. During his tenure, Rick orchestrated the financial turnaround of the company and a restructuring of the company’s business operations.

Prior to that accomplishment, Rick spent over 11 years as a principal in Caproc, a commercial real estate operating company.  Caproc managed and owned properties located in 13 states around the country. With Caproc, Rick was responsible for the management of the company’s operations and the investment performance of the company’s real estate portfolio. Prior to joining Caproc Rick was Vice-President of Northpoint Financial Corporation, a business and investment consulting firm, and was a Senior Consultant at Ernst & Young.

Rick is a member of the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants (CPA) and is a Trustee Elect of the Cleary University Board of Trustees. His background also includes a Master of Sciences in Business from Walsh College, where he was class Valedictorian, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Business from Michigan State University.

Jennifer Merriman

Legal Counsel

Jennifer Merriman, Legal Counsel for Victor International Corporation is responsible for all legal issues, including community documents, real estate closings, contractual agreements and other company legal affairs.

Prior to joining the company, Jennifer was an attorney with Dees Law Office in Central Illinois, focusing on contracts, litigation, financial matters and family law.  She earned her Juris Doctor from Michigan State University College of Law and her Bachelor of Arts from Western Michigan University.  During college, Jennifer served as an intern for Bay Harbor Properties and Victor International Corporation.  She is admitted to practice law in Michigan, Illinois and the U.S. District Court for the Central District of Illinois.

Jennifer is a member of the American, Illinois State and Oakland County Bar Associations and the State Bar of Michigan.
